Underneath the Alto :
Its independent Flexiride suspension and very low centre of gravity provide great stability to the Alto. Its floor and frame are made of aluminium. For maximum aerodynamics, the weld-free frame supports streamlined tanks. Powerful electric brakes come as standard equipment.
A Green Travel Trailer :
Faced with the steady increase in the price of gasoline and the social responsibility we all share to save non-renewable fossil energy, Safari Condo wanted to design ultra-light travel trailers with the lowest possible drag coefficient. Travel trailers meeting these two criteria could then be readily towed by smaller vehicles. Even more environmentally conscious, Safari Condo also wanted its materials selection to be not only lightweight but for the most part recyclable.
Materials :
Roof and walls are made of a sandwich-type material with a plastic honeycomb core laminated with aluminium on one side and Alufiber or aluminium on the other. Alufiber combines the lightweight of aluminium with the durability of fiberglass. The only materials used in building the Alto are those on which water has little effect such as aluminium, Alufiber, plastic, Formica and glass. Inside, the furniture consists largely of aluminium and composite materials. Rigid and ultra-light sandwich panels are integrated into the bed cushions, while the entire bed structure is made of aluminium extrusions.

A Functional Approach :
With an exterior height of only 83,5 inches (2,12 m) with the roof down, all R-series Alto models fit easily in your garage. With the roof up, they offer a very comfortable living space with an 82-inch (2,08 m) interior clearance. Their front dining area is usable even with the rear bed deployed. Beds, fridge, storage and toilet are all usable even with the roof down. You can create two different dining areas by simply moving the table. A model with indoor shower is available.
Retractable Roof :
The seamless aluminium roof is built in a single piece of curved Alufiber/aluminium sandwich panel. It is opened and closed by a pair of electric linear actuators. Its crescent-shaped windows are tinted tempered glass. With the retractable roof down, the aerodynamic shape of the Alto, developed in a virtual wind tunnel, creates 75% less aerodynamic drag than a traditional travel trailer. This factor, along with its lightweight, makes the Alto readily towable by most compact cars and small SUVs.

European-style Alto :
Imported from Europe, the double glazed panoramic acrylic windows of the F series provide both lightweight and superior insulation. The window includes a built-in combination blind/screen system. This type of window provides such a large opening that one almost forgets being inside. The front dinette, with its huge curved window, can be used even while the rear bed is deployed. In addition, by moving the table, it is possible to create a four seat dining area.
Fixed Roof :
The seamless aluminium roof is built in a single piece of curved Alufiber/aluminium sandwich panel. Its generous interior clearance provides easily accessible ample storage. It comes with a large private shower/toilet cabinet. With its exterior height of 95 inches (2.5 m), the F series Alto will fit under an 8-foot garage door. Using the streamlined shape of the R-series roof, the new F series retains its aerodynamic properties and remains easily towable by most compact cars or small SUVs. A simpler design means a lower purchase price.

More Alto to love :
Keeping the same materials and the same large windows as the F17 series, the F21 series offers a more spacious interior and more generous storage. Designed to fit 4 people comfortably, this series includes both King and Queen size beds, larger water and propane tanks, a roomier fridge and a more powerful combined heater/water heater system. The 4-seater front dining area has kept its huge curved window, and remains usable even when the rear bed is deployed. Furthermore, the table can be moved and attached to the side of the trailer to create an exterior dining area.

A21 SERIES (FIXED ROOF)
Less drag, more fun
Designed to optimize the aerodynamics of a caravan, the A2124 is the end product of 11 virtual wind tunnel tests. The result is the most aerodynamic caravan ever designed by Safari Condo, with 47% less aerodynamic drag than all other models in the Alto series. Combined with the lightness of this range of trailers, the A2124 is the most economical to tow in the industry. Safari Condo is driven by a desire to offer products that reduce fossil fuel consumption, and the Alto A2124 was designed with a future in mind that will include more and more electric cars.
Eco-friendly without compromise
While its aerodynamic form is remarkable, the A2124 retains the DNA of the Alto. Built from the same materials and using the same assembly technologies, it offers the durability admired in other Alto models. While maintaining the same materials as the F17 series, its interior is even brighter and more spacious thanks to more generous windows and still more capacious storage. Designed to accommodate up to 4 people, the A2124 is equipped with the same rear king bed, refrigerator, water reservoir and propane supply as the F2114. This new model also presents some novelties, like a swivel table without a floor mount in the front dinette.

F24 SERIES (FIXED ROOF)
To each their own space
The F2414 is the most spacious of all the Altos. It was designed for people who want to travel without compromise. So that everyone has space, the water closet (WC) with sink and shower cabinet become two separate rooms. The dinette for four at the front and the chat area at the back make a functional interior where everyone is free to go about their day without ever preventing the activities of anyone else. The large counter, the outdoor table and the generous storage will make “foodies,” as well as all who travel with family or with a lot of equipment, very happy!
Once evening arrives, a king and a queen bed pull out to allow everyone to sleep comfortably and wake up ready for the next adventure.
Lighter than any other
Its basic weight of 2 947 lbs puts the F2414 in a class of its own. No other 24-foot trailer in the industry offers as much space at such a light weight. The classic rounded shape of the Alto maintains exceptional aerodynamic performance. Therefore, the F24 series can be towed by a wide range of medium-sized SUVS.
The F24 series is also the first with double axles in the Alto product range. This gives it excellent road stability and increased cargo capacity.
