Assistant production manager

• Support production operations;
• Replace production supervisors when required;
• Gather data, analyze problems, propose and implement solutions;
• Study beats and movements and revise standard beats;
• Optimize existing working methods, processes and procedures;
• Help produce and update technical documents;
• Coordinate projects with various internal customers;
• Participate in production and health & safety improvements;
• Participate in the validation of tooling and jig requirements;
• Participate in the optimal and safe design of production lines and workstations;
• Participate in integrating new products into the production process, recipes and methods;
• Participate in the integration of product modification requests into the production process, recipes and methods;
• Perform all other tasks related to continuous improvement.

• Qualifications / Training
• College diploma (DEC) or (BAC) in industrial engineering. Any other combination of training and experience may be considered;

• Experience:‍
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position in the manufacturing sector will be considered an asset;
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suite ;

• Skills and abilities:‍
• Good general knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electricity (an asset)
