Safari Condo is currently looking for an industrial draftsman to join our existing team working in our Saint-Frédéric plant. Reporting to the R&D Manager, the draftsman will work on various improvement and development projects
Main functions
Main functions :
- Produce drawings for all products manufactured byCompany;
- Produces drawings for products subcontracted byCompany;
- Participate in improving assembly and design for trailers and Motorhomes ;
- Analyze 2D drawings by material before programming the CNC;
- Make changes to drawings as requested by the R&D manager;
- Model the assembled elements with an exploded view;
- Follow up on changes made with the various departments;
- Responsible for ensuring that the nomenclature of drawings produced complies with R&D department procedures;
Desired qualities
The qualities sought are:
- Ability to manage more than one project at a time;
- Great attention to detail;
- Autonomy;
- Team spirit;
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical design (an asset);
- English (an asset).
The skills required are :
- DEC in mechanical engineering or DEP in industrial drafting and/or any relevant experience in the field;
- Proficiency in 3D software, preferably SolidWorks and Autocad;
- Knowledge of CNC programming (asset);
- Knowledge of the Office suite.
