Change and Continuity at Safari Condo
Succession planning at Safari Condo has been going on for many years. At the beginning of 2021, the transition continued so as to ensure the company’s stability and sustainability.
Daniel Nadeau, the company’s founder, wished to pass the torch of the presidency to his daughter, Dominique. Until now, Dominique was the general manager of Safari Condo. She becomes the president of the company, while Daniel assumes the role of vice-president.
Daniel, also known as “Innovator-in-Chief,” remains the Director of Research and Development and, as such, the lead in the development of the new Transit model. It is rather on the administrative side that his responsibilities will be reduced. Daniel wishes to take a little more time to travel… when it is possible again.
As the new president, Dominique shares Daniel’s corporate values and wishes to pursue innovation, the hallmark of Safari Condo, and the development of international markets. But the most important thing for Dominique is to continue to make Safari Condo an accessible and human company that values teamwork and that has sustainable development at the heart of its business strategy.
To ensure continuity in this change, André Deschamps, administrative manager since 2018, has been appointed general manager; in this capacity, he too becomes an important pillar of the company.
